"Five Hundred Miles"- Justin Timberlake, Carey Mulligan & Stark Sands
My dear friends. I’m not quite sure how something as beautiful and unexpected as this soundtrack has slipped below my music radar. I never would have guessed that Mr. J.T. himself could throw himself into the bohemian folk era so effortlessly.
This movie, directed by The Coen Brothers (same fellas as O’ Brother, Where Art Thou, Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, True Grit, etc.), is sure to be a win. Dig in deep, brothers and sisters! It’s a good day for discovering some new tunes.
I feel like dancing on my own Where no one knows me and where I Can cause offense just by the way I look
And when I come to blows When I am numbering my faults Just hope that you are on my side, my dear
But it’s best to finish as it started With my face head down just staring at the brown Formica It’s safer not to look around I can’t hide my feelings from you now There’s too much love to go around these days
I’m pretty sure I’m gonna cry whenever I hear this song from now on
